2018’s first CSGO major is just around the corner, and before the main event kicks off January 19th, an offline qualifier will take place January 12-15. The Eleague Major 2018 qualifier will be located in Atlanta, USA, as will the main event. We will get to see 16 world-class teams fighting it out for the last eight spots at Eleague Major 2018.
One of the absolute top teams in the CSGO scene, Ninjas in Pyjamas, will once again miss another major tournament. The only Swedish team attending this year’s first CSGO major is fnatic thanks to the top 8 placement in PGL Krakow 2017. Amongst the other major legends, we see familiar names such as SK Gaming, Virtus.pro and Astralis. Where the latter, Astralis, are hoping to have their superstar dev1ce fit for fight again after a period of health issues.
The journey to the main event of Eleague major 2018 is not going to be easy. The offline qualifier will contain 16 elite teams looking to grab one of the last eight spots to the main event. And amongst these teams we have G2, FaZe, Na’Vi and Cloud9. The full list of participating teams:
