DAC 2018 tournament details
DAC 2018 will start off with group stage containing sixteen teams divided into two groups played in Bo1 round robin. The top two teams from each group will make it through to the playoffs of the main event, and the two bottom teams will be eliminated.
Next phase is ’breakout’ of the main event where the last contenders for the playoffs will be decided. 8 teams will participate: 3rd – 6th place teams from each group playing a one-round Bo3 single-elimination bracket. The 4 winning teams will advance meanwhile the losers will be eliminated.
In the final phase of the tournament, we will see a total of 8 teams compete: 4 winners of the Breakout and the top 4 finishers from the Group Stage. It will be a double-elimination bracket and the first two round of the Lower bracket are Bo1 while the rest are Bo3 except the Grand Final which will be a Bo5 match.
