Yesterday IEM, over on Twitter, announced the group stages for the Katowice Minor. With players from across the globe, the main event is sure to be a great time. The EU and CIS minors take place between January 16th to 20th, then the Americas and Asia minors will be from the 22nd to 26th.
Who qualifies for the Major from these games?
- Challengers from the FACEIT Major in 2018 will automatically make it through to Katowice.
- The top 2 teams from each region will advance to the challenger’s stage along with those from last year.
- 3rd place teams will get a second attempt to make it to the Major through the Minor play in, the top 2 teams from this will also advance to the major.
