cs summit 2 betting

The competitive CSGO scene is on full blast again after a short break. It wasn’t long ago that the huge Eleague Major 2018 took place in Boston where Cloud9, a bit surprisingly took home the glorious trophy.

Next Thursday, February 8th it’s time for yet another CSGO competition, but this time in a significantly more relaxed manner. It’s no other than CS Summit 2 that is on the agenda and the format of the tournament is known from the Dota 2 events. The thing about this tournament is that it’s not played in a venue in front of thousands of screaming fans. Instead, it’s held in a mansion in sunny California.

With this guide, we have prepared everything you need to know about CS Summit 2 betting. You’ll find the best betting sites when it comes to esports selection, bonus offers and odds. We have also taken a look at all of the eight participating teams at CS Summit 2.

CS Summit 2 participants

If you’re reading this, you’re probably eager to start with CS Summit 2 betting. However, before you start, it’s a good idea to take a closer look at the participants. Continue reading for a full checkup on all teams; we’ve also added winner odds from Betway and Arcanebet.

Odds might have changed since the publishing of this article.

SK Gaming

SK Gaming entered the last major with a stand-in and finished on a top 4 placement, but for CS Summit 2 we will get to see the original line-up, which of course will increase their chances of winning the event. SK are reigning champs of cs_summit and we’re sure that’s a title they won’t let go of easily. The first prize isn’t that bad either; winning team goes home with $64,000 in their pockets.

Betway: 2.40 | Arcanebet: 2.30

Cloud9 is in excellent shape, which the huge Major win in Boston is proof of. It will be interesting, to say the least, to follow C9 for the coming 2-3 months to see if they’re able to keep it up. It sure as hell looks promising and they’ll get several chances this month to prove themselves.

Betway: 4.50 | Arcanebet: 4.00

Ninjas in Pyjamas

As we all know Ninjas in Pyjamas didn’t attend this year’s first major championship, and we haven’t seen them compete for about a month now. While CS Summit isn’t the most prestigeful tournament, we’re still excited to see what the Swedish ninjas can bring to the table.

Betway: 5.00 | Arcanebet: 6.50

Team North

Team North is obviously in a huge slump and has gotten rid of two players, René ”cajunb” Borg and Kristian ”k0nfig” Wienecke. Taking their spots will probably be Daniel ”mertz” Mertz and Nicklas ”gade” Gade, although it’s not 100% confirmed yet. The reason for the team changes is, according to rumors, disappointing results and personal problems.

Betway: 7.00 | Arcanebet: 7.00

We don’t consider OpTic to be one of the favorites at CS Summit 2 since there will only be world-class team present. However, the relaxed format could benefit OpTic, given that most participants recently attended the Boston major and probably haven’t practiced a lot heading to this tournament. Meanwhile Optic have had all the time in the world to practice and prepare.

Update: OpTic has been replaced by Torqued.

We will finally get to see Liquid with their original roster, which contains steel instead of their coach zews. As for now, they haven’t been able to attend a lot of tournaments with steel, but they should have had the time to practice quite a lot. The question is if steel is a good fit for the team because there’s no doubt he’s a great player.

Betway: 11.00 | Arcanebet: 12.00

The Danish team Heroic belong to the underdogs in this tournament; they will have to face tough competition in the likes of SK, Cloud9 and NiP. So we really don’t expect Heroic to reach the playoffs in California. But if you feel like luck is on your side you can win up to 41 times your money if Heroic win CS Summit 2.

Betway: 31.00 | Arcanebet: 41.00

Vega Squadron

Vega Squadron put on a decent performance at the Eleague Major 2018. Unfortunately, their high level of play didn’t last very long. With the invitation to CS Summit 2 they get another shot of proving that they can compete among the very best in the world. It’s always great seeing fairly unknown teams putting up a fight against elite teams.

Betway: 31.00 | Arcanebet: 34.00
