SL i-League StarSeries 2 Finals Groups
Seem to be in okay form, currently leading the online ESL Pro League S4. Their Swedish rivals GODSENT will be their toughest opponents in the group.
Dignitas have the capacity to beat teams like GODSENT and NiP in a bo1. But it will be a tough task to take on, can go through to playoffs with some luck.
Recently acquired JW, Flusha, and Krimz from fnatic. Will be interesting to see if they can go far in their first big tournament together. However, most of the players had fought together before and claimed several titles.
The worst team in Group A, would be surprising if they managed to advance to the playoffs.
Probably the strongest team in Group B. One of few teams that have managed to beat SK (formerly known as Luminosity) on LAN last couple of months. Can go far in this tournament if their heavy hitter’s Scream and Shox are on fire.
FaZe have an interesting line-up. Should be able to beat FlipSid3 and MVP Project and end up second in this group.
Will have a hard time against G2 and FaZe. Could surprise and take a win against FaZe.
One of three Chinese teams attending SL i-League StarSeries S2 Finals. Are surely considered the underdogs, but who knows, they might surprise.
Na’Vi recently brought in superstar s1mple, so they now have one hell of a line-up. Have the potential to go far in Kiev.
Astralis is always a strong contender but seems to struggle from time to time. Group C is overall a tough group and it will take consistency to make it through to the playoffs.
Can do some real damage. However, a bit unlucky with the group draw. Both Na’Vi and Astralis in the same group will not be easy to tackle.
Undisputedly the best and most experienced Chinese team. Have had pretty good results against European teams in the past. Will be interesting to see how much they’ve improved.
Always seem to hit decent form when they’re attending LANs. They surprised plenty of csgo fans when they recently won the ELEAGUE finale. Could be a real threat in this tournament if they’re on point.
EnVyUs have been in a slump for a long time now. But they do have the skill to reach the playoffs, especially in this group. It won’t be a walk in the park, though.
C9 is the only NA team attending SL i-League StarSeries Season 2 Finals. They have a lot to prove since they haven’t impressed in a very long time.
Will probably not go far in Kiev. It is, however, always fun to watch Chinese teams play, due to the different play style, compared to European teams.
