Gaming schedule

The competition is divided into two stages, first, we have the group stage between October 7-11 and after that, the playoffs will be held from October 12 to October 14. A Swiss system will be used for the group stage, which means that all matches will be played as best of one, where the top 8 finishers advance to the playoffs.

The playoffs will feature a single-elimination bracket with bo3 matches and a bo5 grand final.

StarSeries i-League Season 6 match predictions

As the match-ups for the first swiss round of StarSeries i-League Season 6 have been revealed we have plenty of betting opportunities looking forward to. The main attraction of the first Swiss round is definitely between the Danish rivals North and OpTic. But Gambit versus compLexity should also be a heated brawl.

Here are our StarSeries i-League Season 6 predictions:

Mousesports vs Sprout

Mousesports is, by far, the favorites in this match-up, or even the entire tournament for that matter. They’re in great form, which they proved when they surprisingly went on to win ESL One New York 2018. So, given their current form and the lack of tier 1 teams at StarSeries i-League Season 6, this is a great chance of winning back-to-back tournaments.

Our prediction: Mousesports wins.

North vs OpTic

The Danish squads going toe to toe against each other is one of the more evenly matched matches of the first Swiss round. Both teams have incredibly talented players, but none are in their best form right now. As MSL have been removed from OpTic’s active roster we’d say that North are favorites to win this match.

Our prediction: North wins.

Gambit vs compLexity

It seems like Gambit is constantly ending up as third place finishers. This has happened at ESL One New York 2018, IEM Shanghai 2018 and DH Open Summer 2018 just to mention a few tournaments. However, since the competition is not as tough this time, Gambit might very well do better this time around. It won’t be easy though, as compLexity certainly can deliver in crucial moments.

Our prediction: Gambit wins.

BIG vs Fragsters

BIG should have this one in the bag as Fragster is one of the weaker opponents at StarSeries i-League Season 6. Not that BIG has been impressive lately, it’s more that Fragsters can’t possibly have anything to put up against them. It’s BIG’s match to lose.

Our prediction: BIG wins.

Vega Squadron vs NRG

NRG are favored against Vega Squadron by small margins. NRG have worked their way up to a 10th placement on hltv’s world ranking. Meanwhile, Vega Squadron have been struggling a bit lately. So, with this said, NRG is supposed to come out on top in this battle.

Our prediction: NRG wins.

ENCE vs Tyloo

Will this match be EZ 4 ENCE? Or is Tyloo too strong of an opponent? Unfortunately, as much as we want the famous ENCE meme to become true, Tyloo do have the upper-hand in this match-up. But, it is a bo1, so in theory, everything can happen. But given these two teams past results, Tyloo should be able to beat the Finnish team.

Our prediction: Tyloo wins.

HellRaisers vs Imperial

HR versus Imperial is far from two giants going head to head. Neither of these teams are at a tier 1 level, so they’re at least equally matched in that sense. But, if we had to choose a winner, it would be HellRaisers. Just because they’re the more known team out of the two and have proven in the past what they’re capable of.

Our prediction: HellRaisers wins.

Renegades vs CyberZen

CyberZen is living in the shadows of Tyloo, but this is still a tournament that should fit this Chinese team. We say this because no tier 1 teams are participating in StarSeries i-League Season 6, so there’s a small chance that CyberZen can make it out of the group stage. But, for this particular match, we believe that Renegades will be victorious.

Our prediction: Renegades wins.
