European Superteam Cleared For The Kiev Major

Kiev Major Dota 2

Many had hoped Swedish team Alliance would qualify for the majors, unfortunately for them, Secret had other plans. Secret tore through the qualifiers with only a single loss to their name, annihilating almost every team standing in their way.

In the finals Team Secret met the eminent Alliance in a best of 3 series, the Swedes were, however, no match for Team Secret. In the first match Alliance was run over by MidOne’s Terrorblade and Alliance’s midlaner Limmp ended the game with 0 kills.

Alliance showed some signs of life in the second game with an impressive defense. While things looked brighter for Alliance, Secret’s Huskar got too farmed. Secret’s Huskar+Wisp combination annihilated the Swedes lineup in the later stages of the game.

Secret will be accompanied by Russian Virtus.Pro from the CIS-qualifiers, IG Vitality from China, and Team Faceless from SEA. It remains to be seen who will qualify from North and South America.
