Additional Info

It is worth nothing that each group stage is played out on individual weekends. So, each group is essentially a small double elimination tournament with the top two teams locking themselves in for the Spring Finals in June.

The bottom two teams of each group get pushed into the Spring Showdown. Here the six teams that got eliminated from groups will clash with teams that qualify through an open qualifier. The total of ten teams will fight for the final two Spring Finals places.

This format is rather complex and there will be five months between the initial games and the Spring Finals taking place. We will be providing full coverage for each step along the way, to make things easier for you to follow.

Key Betting Tips

Map handicaps – If there’s a clear and obvious winner, map handicaps against them are the easiest way to boost odds. Likewise, if there’s a team that likely won’t win but has a chance of causing an upset, consider a map handicap in their favour.

Recent form is important – There are some teams in the Counter-Strike scene that are incredibly hit and miss, but in most cases, taking a teams recent form into account can help weigh up which sort of bet you should place and how much you should risk wagering. However, in this case there has been a recent player break which could throw a spanner in the works here.
