100 Thieves started their showing in the Call of Duty Pro League below par. They came into the season expected to be one of the best teams but have struggled horribly. They scrapped into the pro league and started 1-2 in the first week of action.
The tide well and truly turned this past week. However, they pulled off a 4-0 week while picking up a win against the previously undefeated Heretics squad.
They now find themselves sitting on the top spot in Division B and are one of the favoured teams heading into the upcoming CWL Fort Worth event.
In the running
100 Thieves can brag about being in the top spot, but they share that prestigious position with two other teams. Both EUnited and Heretics hold a 5-2 record and are tied in the first position with 100 Thieves.
Splyce is also still in the running, sitting in 4th place with a 4-3 record. The roster that was built to challenge for Championships could still very well find themselves coming out on top of this division if they step it up a notch.
What’s coming next
We have hit that stage of the season where we have two weeks of action remaining. However, things will be getting shaken up a bit. The final two weeks of the regular season will consist of cross-play in the divisions.
Meaning that teams from both Division A and Division B will face off against each other. With the quality that sits at the top of both divisions, this could cause a considerable shift in the final standings.
I believe we are going to witness the best Call of Duty action during these weeks as teams will be battling it out to make a playoff spot or avoid relegation.
It’s important to note that the Call of Duty World League transfer window is now open. They are allowing teams to make changes to their rosters, which could have a drastic effect on how the regular season finishes.
