Match Preview

On the final day of group stage action, it all comes down to the wire in Group D. With 3 of the 4 teams holding a 2-1 record (DAMWON and Invictus being two of those teams). Every game will have a huge impact on the outcome heading into playoffs.

The young upcoming talent had a slow start to Worlds which in turn raised many questions about the rosters true ability. Despite this early defeat against Liquid, DAMWON managed to bounce back strong.

They appeared to be playing with a great deal of confidence in their matches against Invictus and Ahq e-Sports Club. This resulted in them pulling their record back to a respectable 2-1. This will be both teams second game of the day, so both will be warmed up and ready to battle it out and secure their spot in playoffs.

Invictus Gaming

With being the current World Champions, there is a lot of pressure hanging over them. Despite the loss to DAMWON earlier in the tournament, they have managed to find success. However, there still isn’t as much hype around the roster as you would maybe expect.

Invictus will need to pull off an impressive day of League of Legends to have any chance of reclaiming the World Championship. I’m not saying they don’t have the quality to make it out of groups, but they need to build up confidence and get in their stride before heading into playoffs.

Tomorrow is going to be a fantastic day of action. This game has the potential to be the best of them all. I’ve picked out DAMWON as the winner in this matchup, with 2.21 odds available on this result.
