[ft_boxes box_style=’info’ ]Match: Faze vs Complexity (IEM Katowice 2019 Legends Stage) | Prediction: Faze to win the match | Odds: 1.22 | Bookmaker: Betway | Match start: 15.30 GMT +1[/ft_boxes]
Their Performances in Legends Stage
Faze find themselves battling to survive in the tournament tomorrow. They came into Katowice as one of the potential favourites to win the event. Despite this, they find themselves with a 1-2 record. Meaning a loss tomorrow against Complexity would send them home.
The business started as usual for Faze in Legends Stage. Their first game was against Hellraisers which they took comfortably with a 16-4 win. Since then it’s been a tough road for the team, being faced against Renegades and then Avangar.
Renegades well and truly pulled off an upset with their 16-14 win against Faze. We thought Faze would regroup and head into their next match full of composure. Again, they found themselves getting handed a loss after a close 16-13 loss to Avangar. This landed them into the Elimination Round.
Complexity has been a hard team to predict thus far. They were one of the teams that automatically qualified for Legends Stage. Complexity have failed to live up to the expectations so far. They were left in an 0-2 situation after losing to both Astralis and MiBR.
It could be unfair to judge them for the 0-2 record due to the levels of teams they had to play against. Both Astralis and MiBR are fan favourites to win the event. They got things back on track following a 2-0 win against NRG in Elimination Round 1. Although the games were close, it will provide them with some momentum heading into the do or die match.
If you’re someone that likes taking the risk on potential upsets, I’ve got the bet for you. The on Complexity winning the series is currently sitting at 3.80. Better again, if you want to chance to bet on the exact series score you could get the following:
- Complexity to win 2-1 at 5.60 odds
- Complexity to win 2-0 at 7.40 odds
This game has the potential to go down to the wire the entire series. You can get 1.80 odds on Map 1 to have over 26.5 rounds.
This time I’ll have to take the safe bet. I think despite the ups and downs, Faze will still find a way to come through on top. I’m by no means righting Complexity off. I just have the feeling Faze will come out swinging because they’re backed up against the wall right now.
