Team Liquid vs FlyQuest NA LCS Spring Playoffs 2019

[ft_boxes box_style=’info’ ]Match: Team Liquid vs FlyQuest (NA LCS Spring Split Playoffs) | Format: Best of 5 | Prediction: FlyQuest +2.50 (Map handicap) | Odds: 1.80 | Bookmaker: Betway | Match start: 2019-04-07 20:00 BST[/ft_boxes]

A team that has a rich history within NA LCS and dominated last year. A team that is trying to start building their history as a franchise within League of Legends. Liquid vs. FlyQuest, who will come out on top?

Team Liquid

NA Spring Split Champions 2018. NA Summer Split Champions 2018. Liquid is without a team that best team in North America right now. Teams have tried this past year to knock them off the top; none have been successful yet. Can this change now with FlyQuest?

Team Liquid is a team filled with experience, natural talent, and raw mechanic ability. In the offseason, they acquired both Jensen and CoreJJ, two crucial elements of their roster that have been improved even further.

It was evident quite how good they are at the start of the season. A 7-0 start in the NA LCS doesn’t happen often. Their winning streak came to an end against TSM. They quickly picked themselves back up though and pulled off another 7-game winning streak. However, they lose their final games of the split against FlyQuest, EchoFox and TSM, three teams that also made playoffs.

2018 was a rollercoaster for the FlyQuest franchise. They had a horrible Spring Split that left them as a laughing stock in the North American scene. They redeemed their selves in the Summer Spring and managed to make playoffs before being picked apart by 100 Thieves in the Quarter-Final.

I think they’ve had one of the most successful off-season. They’ve managed to beef out their roster with some highly regarded players that can help build their foundations and lead them to success in the future.

They finished the 2019 Spring Split with a 9-9 record that found them tied in 4th place alongside Golden Guardians.

My Prediction

It’s clear FlyQuest have made vast improvements to their squad in recent months. However, I don’t think they have enough in the tank quite yet to defeat Team Liquid in a playoff match.

With that being said, the best betting option for this matchup could be the +2.5 map handicap to FlyQuest at 1.80 odds. This means FlyQuest only need to win one map against Team Liquid in the Best of 5 series for you to win your bet. FlyQuest beat Liquid a couple of weeks ago in the regular season so I can see them winning at least one map on Sunday night.
